On Hosting Blog Carnivals
The series of posts by Mike of 10000 Birds is the most thorough treatment of how to host a blog carnival to date, but he has a serious competitor now and we are all going to profit from the proliferation of such resources. Sour Duck has published a five-part series on the topic:
Sour Duck’s Carnival Host Notes: Introduction, Definition, and Disclaimer (Part I)
Sour Duck’s Carnival Host Notes: Technical Notes (Part II)
Sour Duck’s Carnival Host Notes: Meta-Issues (Part III)
Sour Duck’s Carnival Host Notes: Reference Links (Part IV)
Sour Duck’s Carnival Host Notes: Revisions (Part V)
Some others have also written accounts of their hosting different carnivals in the past, including Hedwig The Owl, Science And Sarcasm, Erin Monahan, Coyote Blog, Free Money Finance, Wizbang and me. Let me know if you are aware of other such writings so I can include them here.
