Anti-blogging hiring practices in academia?
I saw this on Bitch PhD first, but did not pay attention. Then I saw Chris do something extremely unusual - post a one-liner blog-post: here! That got my attention so I clicked though the link and it is chilling! Not getting hired JUST because you have a blog! No way! Yes way, according to this article.

I don't want to get hired by a department containing people who think like that search committee. Selection works both ways.
